The Playroom is Fona school's English daycare program. We welcome kids into the Playroom from 2 years old until they start elementary school. Foreign teachers play a major role in the games and other educational activities to provide a fulfilling and growing experience for the kids. The foreign teachers at Fona school include teachers from a variety of countries, such as the US, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and so on. The kids learn real English naturally by playing in English with the foreigner teachers. At the same time, they also learn those countries' cultures and thinking. Of course, we also provide Japanese teachers according to the number and ages of the kids to ensure that the kids can all join in the fun and activities smoothly.
The Japanese certified daycare teacher and the foreign teachers continually work together to improve the curriculum, to ensure the proper development and growth of the kids, and to match the details to the stages of the kids' development. Naturally, the curriculum is always flexible to account for the daily conditions of the kids, so that the teachers can adjust any plans as needed to ensure that the kids always have the opportunity to learn and enjoy.
Another principle that we hold dear is for the teachers to have as much fun as the kids have. The teachers having fun is the best way to be sure that the kids have fun, too. That also helps the kids to learn interpersonal relations, because it's an environment of people simply having a good time with each other.
For the daycare locations, we use houses and apartments to provide a home-like atmosphere to help everyone relax and feel comfortable. Safety concerns are covered by the certified teacher, but we also provide a Web camera so you can check on the kids at any time you choose.
